Stitch & Bitch

A welcoming place for fiber artists of all kinds to get together.

The origins of modern-day Stitch & Bitch groups date back to at least World War II. Groups of people - mostly women - would get together in groups and chat while working on a craft project, usually knitting.

Today, Stitch & Bitch groups have evolved to include a variety of fiber arts, ranging from knitting to crocheting to embroidering to cross stitch and beyond. If you’re looking for a physical meet-up, this site might give you some ideas - you can also check out your local yarn shop or library to see if they have anything available.

If, however, you’d like to participate in something online, I would like to invite you to my Stitch & Bitch Discord server. This server was created in February 2025.

The goal of this group is to be a welcoming community of all fiber artists, regardless of age, race, gender, skill level, or fiber art of their choice.

We’d love it if you came to hang out with us!
